Refund Policy
Last updated 4 August 2026
14 days, no questions asked. If Recaller Book isn't what you needed, ask for a refund within 14 days of the charge and you get your money back. You do not have to give a reason, and we will not try to talk you out of it.
How to request one
Either works:
- Email [email protected] from the address on your account.
- Contact Paddle directly at paddle.net, which is the billing support portal for every order.
Refunds are issued by Paddle, our Merchant of Record, back to the original payment method. Once approved, the money typically arrives within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.
What the 14 days apply to
The window runs from the date of the charge, and applies to first purchases as well as to renewals. Using the service during that period does not void it — you are meant to try it properly before deciding.
Renewals
Subscriptions renew automatically. If you do not want to renew, cancel before the renewal date from your account, which takes you to Paddle's customer portal. Cancelling keeps your access until the end of the period you already paid for.
If a renewal catches you by surprise, the 14-day window covers it — just ask.
After 14 days
We do not normally refund beyond 14 days, and annual plans are not refunded pro-rata once that window has passed. Two exceptions:
- If the service was substantially unavailable for a prolonged period, tell us and we will put it right.
- If we discontinue the service while you hold an unexpired subscription, we refund the unused portion automatically.
Your statutory rights
If you are a consumer in the European Union or United Kingdom, you have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days. This policy gives you at least that, and applies to business customers too. Nothing here limits rights you have by law.
