A recall covers specific build dates and vehicle identification numbers (VINs), not every MG on the road. To see whether yours is affected:
- Look up your VIN or registration on the official recall checker for the country where the car is registered: DVSA (UK), KBA (Germany), EU Safety Gate (Poland), NZTA (New Zealand), SERNAC (Chile), PROFECO (Mexico).
- Ask an authorised MG dealer: recall repairs are free, including on used cars and cars serviced elsewhere.
